Terms and rules
These rules apply to everyone in the Siuntion Koirametsä area. Please read them before your slot — they exist for the safety of dogs and people.
- It is the owner's or handler's responsibility to judge whether the fence is sufficient for their dog.
- Everyone in the Koirametsä area is there at their own risk. Please make sure you have adequate accident insurance.
- The owner or handler is also responsible if a dog escapes from the area.
- The area is real forest, so keep in mind that the ground is not even.
- You may only enter the enclosure during your own slot. Entering is always forbidden if someone is already there.
- Adult dogs must be vaccinated according to the Finnish Kennel Club rules and properly dewormed.
- Sick dogs and females in heat may not be brought to the area.
- Puppies are welcome as long as the owner uses good judgement and is aware of the possible risks.
- Dogs must never be left in the enclosure unsupervised.
- Campfires are allowed whenever there is no forest fire warning in effect. Bring your own firewood; dead wood from the forest may be burned.
- There is no toilet and no lighting. Be prepared for this, especially after dark.
- Leave the area tidy and take your rubbish with you.
