Not every dog enjoys a busy dog park. Here there are no strange dogs to watch out for and nobody to explain yourself to — for the length of your slot, the forest is entirely yours.

Fenced and safe
The whole area is fenced, so the leash can stay in your pocket. Especially valuable for reactive and shy dogs.
Lean-to shelter and campfire site
In the middle of the forest there is a lean-to and a campfire site. Fires are allowed whenever there is no forest fire warning.

Pick a free slot in Nettiaika, drive over and walk in through the gate. No queues, no back-and-forth.
The experience
The gate clicks shut. Leash off.
The moment the clip snaps open is always the same. Your dog freezes for a second, looks at you — and is off. Nose down, tail up, into the trees.
You stay standing on the path. No need to watch who is coming. No need to call out or hurry. All you hear is twigs snapping and the wind in the pine tops.
You walk to the lean-to, light a fire and brew some coffee. Now and then your dog comes back to check you are still there, then vanishes up the rocks again. An hour in the forest is enough for you both to be calm on the drive home.

Pick a free slot
Open Nettiaika and find a suitable time in the calendar. You see straight away which slots are free.
- 02
Confirm your booking
Fill in your contact details and confirm. You will receive a confirmation and directions for getting here.
- 03
Drive over and step inside
Park and walk about 300 metres along a forest road and path to the gate. There is a big hill on the way, which may be too much for people with limited mobility. At the gate you let your dog off the leash – the forest is yours for the whole slot.

Easy to find
Hauklammentie 47, 03150 Siuntio
Driving directions
Siuntion Koirametsä is in Siuntio, on Hauklammentie. Almost at the end of the road there is a sign reading “Koirametsä” on the right. A forest road leads off in the direction of the sign.
Parking: P1 and P2
The forest road can be a little challenging. If your car has low ground clearance, park at parking area 1. About 100 metres further, at the foot of a steep hill, there is a second parking area with room for 2–3 cars. From there you continue to the gate on foot.
Road conditions
The roads can at times be in poor condition, for example after rain. Everyone uses the roads at their own risk.
Good to know on site
There is no toilet and no lighting. Bring a head torch after dark and your own firewood.
